Job Description
The Accounts Assistant will be responsible for:
3. Input of Purchase Ledger Invoices
4. Input of Sales Ledger Invoices
5. Preparation of weekly payment run and payment wizard management.
6. Processing Payments/Receipts
7. Bank and petty cash reconciliations
8. Credit Control
9. Journal Postings
10. Dealing with Customer/Supplier requests
The Successful Applicant
A successful Accounts Assistant should have:
11. AAT Qualified or working towards the qualification
12. Skilled in finance systems, SAP ideal;
13. Ambitious to progress your career;
14. Energetic and focused;
15. Driven and results orientated with a desire to achieve;
16. A problem solver with great attention to detail;
17. Good communication skills with the ability to speak to others in the business at all levels and deal with queries from external parties e.g. suppliers;
18. Strong Microsoft Office skills, in particular with Excel;
19. Willing to throw yourself into a varied and busy role;
20. Flexible in your approach to managing your workload around busy periods and key deadlines.
