Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
• Develop and execute the company’s digital construction strategy aligned with business goals.
• Champion BIM adoption and digital transformation across departments and projects.
• Lead innovation initiatives in construction technology, including AR/VR, digital twins, and automation.
BIM Management
• Oversee BIM execution plans (BEPs), model coordination, clash detection, and data validation.
• Ensure models meet client requirements and align with ISO 19650 standards.
• Manage Common Data Environments (CDEs) and ensure robust information management protocols.
Project Delivery
• Collaborate with project teams to integrate BIM into design, planning, and construction workflows.
• Support pre-construction and tendering processes with digital tools and model-based estimating.
• Monitor digital deliverables and ensure timely handover of accurate as-built models.
• Provide onsite support and coordination on live projects.
Team & Stakeholder Engagement
• Lead and mentor a team of BIM Coordinators and Design Managers
• Train internal teams and external partners on BIM protocols and digital tools.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients and consultants on digital construction matters.
• Vet and assess the digital capabilities of subcontractors and supply chain partners to ensure alignment with BIM and project delivery standards.
• Develop and deliver targeted upskilling programs to enhance supply chain proficiency in digital construction tools and workflows.
Technology & Innovation
• Evaluate and implement new software, platforms, and hardware to enhance productivity.
• Drive automation in design coordination, quantity take-offs, and site logistics.
* Maintain awareness of industry trends and emerging technologies.
* Lead the strategic integration of AI technologies across design, planning, and delivery processes to improve project efficiency, data accuracy, and decision-making.
* Drive innovation through AI adoption, identifying opportunities to automate workflows, enhance BIM and digital twin capabilities
Qualifications & Skills
Essential
• Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum 5–7 years of BIM/digital construction experience, ideally in fit-out or construction.
• Strong understanding of ISO 19650, PAS 1192, and UK BIM Framework.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
