Please note that there are 2 positions available for this role Working hours: 40 hours per week Interview Date: To be confirmed We are looking for Housing & Tenancy Sustainment Officers to work on a rota basis with some early morning and late nights at Harnall Lifehouse, Coventry. Harnall Lifehouse is a 80 bedded Lifehouse for Homeless males with Complex Needs aged 25. At Harnall Lifehouse they also have 5 Emergency Beds for Rough Sleepers. Key responsibilities: The purpose of the role is to work collaboratively with support colleagues to ensure that licensees can maintain their licence and can access services, taking appropriate action on breaches of licence agreements, including antisocial behaviour and to maximise outcomes for tenants and The Salvation Army As a Tenancy Sustainment Worker, you will assist the support team with the intensive housing management function. You will play a key role in interviews and assessments, allocation of housing and settling in new clients. The post holder should have the ability and willingness to work within, be empathic with and promote the Christian ethos and values of The Salvation Army Mission. The successful candidates will be able to demonstrate: Experience supporting individuals with complex or vulnerable needs Knowledge of tenancy management issues such as arrears, anti-social behaviour, and licence breaches Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to manage your own workload Experience of working collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and case management systems A proactive approach to problem-solving and delivering positive outcomes In order to complete your application please download and read the job profile and any other attachments.
