Job Overview
An opportunity has arisen for a band 5 RMN to join our team on Pwyll Ward, Male Forensic Medium Secure Ward, within Forensic Psychiatry at Ty Llywelyn MSU. Pwyll Ward specializes in the assessment and comprehensive treatment of individuals with a broad spectrum of enduring mental health needs.
We accept admissions from prison and high security. Service users receive treatment and support to enable transition to lower security levels or directly to the community. The unit benefits from experienced Consultants, Specialty doctors, dedicated Occupational Therapists, Psychologists, nurses, and Social Workers.
We seek ambitious staff with a desire for personal and professional development. We offer regular clinical and managerial supervision, promote continuous professional development, and provide opportunities for progression to ensure best practice in clinical care. Our support includes a structured Trust Induction, Mandatory Training, monthly supervisions, staff appraisals, a Preceptorship Programme, professional development activities, Reflective Practice, staff meetings, and team events such as away days. We also offer various clinical and professional development opportunities.
