Job Description
As part of the Resource Management team and reporting to the Business Resource Manager (BRM), the Resource Officer will play a key role in supporting and ensuring that the resource management activities of Decommissioning, Waste and the wider UK Business are carried out effectively.
The Resource Management team are responsible for ensuring that the UK business has suitably qualified and experienced people deployed on existing projects and identifying resources for future business demand to ensure the successful delivery of engineering projects. This involves resource planning; forecasting demand; recruitment, interview and selection; financial control; customer interaction; and people development.
The Resource Officer has a key role within the team and will be responsible for the following:
* Coordinating & conducting inductions of new starters.
* Onboarding arrangements of new starters e.g. arranging IT equipment, account information, communication, site inductions, liaising with security etc.
* Managing the accuracy of non-invoiceable costs (e.g. timesheet bookings)
* Maintaining the resource plan; updating any new starters, leavers, any new scheduled training, leave etc.
* Conducting & documenting interviews for new recruits.
* Creating & sharing job specifications.
* Offboarding of employees; ensuring IT equipment and site badges are returned, closing of IT accounts etc.
* Maintaining resourcing records such as organisation charts, headcount records, discipline records, career progression records etc.
* Coordinating proposal CVs to present to customers.
* Maintain and coordinate the delivery of training plans.
* Support the BRM with day to day business.
The role holder will have the support of Business Resource Managers to aid their career development and gain skills & experience within the Resource Management discipline.

Essential Experience & Qualifications
* Minimum of UK Qualification level 3.
* Have an understanding of the principles of resource planning, billable utilisation, recruitment & selection, training and development.
* To have operated within a resourcing function previously.
Desirable Experience
* Experience in a similar role; Resource Admin, Scheduler, HR Officer etc.
* A CIPD qualification or the willingness to work towards this would be desirable, but is not essential

Due to the nature of work to be undertaken applicants will be required to meet certain residency criteria in order to attain a minimum level of UK security clearance if not already security cleared to a minimum SC level.
