We are seeking a reliable and proactive Professional Cleaner/General Support Worker to maintain a clean, safe, and organised environment. This role combines high-standard cleaning duties with general operational support to ensure the smooth daily running of the facility.
Key Responsibilities
1. Cleaning & Sanitation
• Perform deep cleaning tasks, including mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and polishing surfaces.
• Sanitise high-touch areas such as door handles, railings, and shared equipment.
• Clean and restock restrooms, kitchens, and common break areas.
• Manage waste disposal and recycling according to environmental policies.
2. General Support & Maintenance
• Assist with basic facility maintenance, such as changing lightbulbs or reporting repairs.
• Set up and rearrange furniture for meetings, events, or daily operations.
• Monitor and manage inventory for cleaning supplies and kitchen stock.
• Receive and distribute deliveries or mail when required.
3. Health & Safety
• Ensure all cleaning chemicals are stored and used safely according to COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) or local regulations.
• Identify and report potential safety hazards or maintenance issues immediately.
• Adhere to all health, safety, and security protocols of the premises.
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Experience: Previous experience in professional cleaning or facility support is preferred.
• Attention to Detail: Ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and notice small maintenance needs.
• Physical Stamina: Capable of standing for long periods and performing physical tasks, including lifting or moving light furniture.
• Reliability: Strong time-management skills and a consistent work ethic.
• Communication: Basic verbal communication skills to coordinate with team members and supervisors.
