An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and energetic Inside Sales Representative to join a successful and growing dealership business within the construction equipment sector.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys speaking with customers, building relationships, generating opportunities, and developing a long-term career in sales. You’ll play a key role in supporting retail growth by converting inbound enquiries into qualified sales opportunities and proactively engaging potential customers.
The Role
As an Inside Sales Representative, you will act as a key point of contact for prospective customers and support the wider sales team through proactive lead generation and customer engagement.
Your responsibilities will include:
Selling a range of compact equipment solutions to new customers and small fleet operators
Proactively cold calling prospective customers to generate new business opportunities
Lead generation through outbound activity, digital enquiries, and marketing campaigns
Building and developing a strong pipeline of new business opportunities
Prospecting and creating demand within the local market
Responding quickly and professionally to inbound enquiries from website leads and marketing activity
Making outbound calls to follow up and progress opportunities
Identifying customer requirements and arranging demonstrations or dealership appointments
Booking qualified appointments for the external sales team
Maintaining regular customer follow-up to maximise conversion opportunities
Updating CRM systems accurately with customer interactions and next actions
Supporting digital sales activity including online listings, email campaigns, and social engagement
Representing the business professionally at all timesAbout You This opportunity would suit someone with experience in:
