Our local authority client based in Staffordshire are urgently seeking an experienced Customer Hub Officer.
Customer Hub Officer (Supported Accommodation)
Rate of Pay: £14.36 per hour PAYE
Location: Newcastle-under-Lyme ST5 1BL / hybrid. Remote for experienced candidate only.
Hours: Monday – Friday, 37 hours per week. 9am – 5pm with 30 minutes unpaid break.
Duration: Temporary basis, 6 months until February 2026.
As a Customer Hub Officer within the Supported Accommodation Team, you will play a crucial role of focusing on ensuring that residents receive the support they need in a safe and welcoming environment.
Daily Duties:
* Support the reviewing of providers of supported accommodation.
* Monitoring and responding to the general inbox to answer queries and concerns raised.
* Signposting residents to appropriate internal or external services, including mental health, addiction support, benefits advice.
* Booking and managing appointments for key workers, repairs and external services.
* Recording and maintaining the Housing Management Systems.
Essential Experience:
* Knowledge of Supported Accommodation and/or Housing Benefit is essential.
* Previous experience working within Supported Accommodation is preferred.
* Excellent customer service and communication skills.
* Excellent organisational skills with a keen eye for attention to detail.
* Good IT skills with knowledge of MS365 skills, including Teams and Outlook.
