About the role
We are looking for an experienced Site Agent to manage the day-to-day running of construction sites, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all site operations and coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and the project team
Plan and schedule daily work to meet project deadlines
Monitor site progress, quality, and safety compliance
Conduct site meetings and provide regular progress reports to senior management
Maintain accurate site records, including materials, labour, and equipment usage
Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company policies
Identify and resolve issues promptly to avoid delays and cost overruns
The Ideal Candidate
We're seeking a Site Agent who thrives in hands-on, fast-paced environments and can manage multiple site tasks simultaneously. About you:
Proven experience as a Site Agent, Assistant Site Manager, or similar role within construction
Strong knowledge of construction methods, health & safety, and site management
Excellent organisational and communication skills
Ability to coordinate subcontractors and resources effectively
Problem-solving skills to handle site issues as they arise
Relevant construction qualifications (CSCS, SMSTS/SSSTS)
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regionally
