Job Description
1. Lead direct sales initiatives across the full portfolio of optical and fiber‑management solutions, with a focus on next‑generation sensing and intelligent network capabilities.
2. Define and execute regional and account‑based sales strategies, including market analysis, customer needs assessment, forecasting, and competitive evaluation.
3. Manage and expand customer relationships across assigned accounts, serving as the primary interface for all pre‑sales and post‑sales activities.
4. Conduct routine customer visits, technical presentations, product training, and solution briefings to secure new business and grow existing accounts.
5. Understand customer technology, business requirements, and network architectures to effectively propose tailored solutions.
6. Perform revenue forecasting, account planning, pipeline management, and related sales operations aligned with growth objectives.
7. Develop commercial proposals, negotiate contracts, and consistently meet or exceed revenue targets.
8. Gather account‑specific intelligence-including use cases, cost‑benefit analysis, and competitive positioning-to support long‑term strategic growth.
9. Maintain accurate account plans and collaborate closely with Marketing, Engineering, Product Management, and Operations.
10. Provide ongoing market feedback to help shape product roadmaps and future technical capabilities.
11. Learn and articulate the value of emerging AI‑based optical sensing and network‑intelligent technologies for next‑generation ODN applications.
12. Act as a strong customer advocate internally, ensuring alignment across project planning, support, and commercial execution.

The Successful Applicant
13. 10+ years of experience in fiber optics, optical networking, or related technical sales.
14. Proven success in prospecting, hunting, and acquiring new strategic customers.
15. Strong understanding of fiber‑based technologies, network architectures, or telecom infrastructure.
16. Excellent written, verbal, and technical communication skills.
17. Highly self‑driven, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
18. Effective collaborator across Engineering, Product, Marketing, and Operations.
19. Strong listening skills with a customer‑first mindset.
20. CRM experience and comfort with data‑driven account planning.
21. Ability to travel domestically up to 40%.
