<div><h3>Level 5 Early Years Lead Practitioner Apprenticeship – Jolly Tots Day Nursery (Nursery Manager role)</h3><p>Shoots Training are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable and hardworking individual to complete their Level 5 Early Years Lead Practitioner Apprenticeship at Jolly Tots Day Nursery.</p><p>Welcome to Jolly Tots Day Nursery, a warm, friendly, and nurturing environment where children feel safe, valued, and at home.</p><p>We provide high-quality care in a calm and welcoming setting, supporting each child with the same love, patience, and attention a parent would give their own.</p><p>Our dedicated team builds strong, trusting relationships with children and families, ensuring every child feels secure and confident.</p><p>We recognise each child as an individual and support their development through play, exploration, and positive interactions.</p><p>At our nursery, we are proud to offer a caring, home-from-home environment where children are nurtured, encouraged, and supported to grow, learn, and thrive.</p><p>We have 4 rooms and a huge hall, a big garden, in private area and follow EYFS framework.</p><h3>Purpose of the Role</h3><p>To lead and manage the nursery effectively, ensuring high-quality care, education, and safeguarding in line with the EYFS and Ofsted requirements.</p><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Provide strong leadership and day-to-day management of the setting</li><li>Ensure safeguarding and child protection procedures are followed at all times</li><li>Maintain a safe, secure, and compliant environment</li><li>Ensure high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment in line with the EYFS</li><li>Monitor staff practice and support continuous improvement</li><li>Promote inclusive practice and support children with SEND</li><li>Manage staff recruitment, induction, supervision, and performance</li><li>Ensure effective staff deployment and appropriate ratios</li><li>Build positive partnerships with parents, carers, and external professionalsEnsure policies, procedures, and records are up to date</li><li>Lead self-evaluation and prepare for Ofsted inspections</li><li>Maintain confidentiality and engage in ongoing professional development</li></ul><h3>Requirements</h3><ul><li>A Level 3 Childcare qualification is essential</li><li>Previous experience in a managers role</li><li>Previous experience with Ofsted</li><li>Have GCSE grades A*-C or 4-9 in Maths and English, or equivalent</li></ul><h3>Hours</h3><ul><li>Jolly Tots Day Nursery is open from 8:00am – 6:00pm Monday to Friday</li><li>The successful candidate will be required to work 35-45 hours per week</li></ul><h3>Benefits</h3><ul><li>Free parking</li><li>28 days holiday</li><li>Probation 6 months with a review at 3 months</li><li>Those with good attendance get birthdays off</li><li>5 days of training a year</li></ul></div>
