Job Description As a Care Assistant, you’ll be providing essential care and support to older adults in their homes. Your tasks will be varied and may include: Personal Care: Helping with daily hygiene routines, dressing, and mobility Meal Support: Preparing meals and assisting with feeding Medication Assistance: Helping clients manage their medications Companionship: Providing conversation, company, and emotional support Pet Care: Assisting with feeding and walking pets Social Outings: Supporting clients to enjoy trips, appointments, and social activities Whether you’re looking for a few extra hours each week or a full-time role, we offer a variety of working patterns to suit your commitments. However, experience in a care setting, or a passion for supporting older people, would be beneficial. What’s most important is that you: Are compassionate and truly enjoy helping others Have a caring and respectful nature – you’ll be building meaningful relationships with your clients Are reliable can commit to regular hours and have a good work ethic Can work every other weekend as part of the role Are comfortable working independently, but also know when to ask for support Live within a reasonable distance of our office in Pewsey, SN9 About Our Area We cover a wide geographical area including Pewsey, Devizes, Marlborough, Andover, Amesbury, Tidworth, and surrounding villages.
