Commercial Property Legal Assistant
Are you looking to build a rewarding career in property law within a friendly, close-knit team? Were working with a well-regarded Eastbourne law firm that is seeking a Commercial Property Assistant or Paralegal to join their busy and welcoming office.
This is a fantastic opportunity to support a highly experienced and well-respected Partner who has a strong pipeline of work. Youll gain excellent exposure to a broad range of commercial property matters, with plenty of opportunity to get involved and develop your skills.

Key responsibilities will include:
* Opening and closing files in line with compliance procedures
* Drafting and amending legal documents and correspondence
* Assisting with the preparation of contract packs, reports on title, and search results
* Liaising with clients, solicitors, estate agents, and other third parties
* Managing diaries, scheduling appointments, and supporting with key deadlines
* Supporting the fee-earner throughout transactions from instruction to completion
* General administrative tasks including filing, photocopying, and updating case management systems
What theyre looking for:
* Previous experience in a legal support role within property law (commercial or residential)
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* A proactive and enthusiastic approach to learning
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* A genuine interest in developing a career in commercial property law
Whether youre currently in a secretarial role with a solid understanding of property processes or already working as a paralegal, the firm is open to different levels of experience and will offer support to help you grow.
