Ward Administrator | Theatre | Macclesfield | 12 months FTC | Maternity Cover | 37.5 hours per week | £22,386 per annum
Spire Regency Hospital, Macclesfield is currently looking for an experienced Administrator to join their Wards/Theatre team on a fixed term contract to cover maternity leave.

As Ward/Theatre Administrator you will be providing an efficient and high quality clerical service that is supportive of the staff responsible for the provision surgical care. You will also provide accurate operating lists, maintain accurate patient records and support the senior team with administrative and clerical duties.
Working Hours: 8 am to 4 pm Monday to Friday
Contract Type: Fixed Term for 12 months
Duties and responsibilities
* Welcome visitors into the clinical area, maintaining a courteous and professional manner at all times
* Handle telephone calls and face to face enquiries from patient relatives, hospital staff and external stakeholders in a constructive and sympathetic manner, acting appropriately and referring to suitable person where necessary
* To be responsible for maintaining accurate operating sessions and procedure lists, including preoperative notifications
* Help monitor and generate reports
* To be responsible for maintaining accurate patient records and updating procedure details to the relevant records
* Manage the collection and receipt of goods to theatres in line with the department's protocols
Who we're looking for:
* Previous relevant experience in a similar administrative support role
* Passion for customers
* Computer literate
* Adept at handling various calls on a daily basis
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships, both internally and externally
* Strong focus on delivering and meeting customer expectations
* Confident telephone manner with the ability to communicate With a wide range of customers at all levels
* The ability to work effectively as part of a team
