Job Summary
YF Properties is seeking a detail-oriented and organised Part-Time Bookkeeper to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and supporting our accounting functions.
This role offers flexibility and an excellent opportunity to contribute to the smooth financial operations of a growing property organisation. The ideal applicant will have experience using accounting software, particularly Xero, and a strong understanding of accounts payable procedures.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage day-to-day bookkeeping activities, including data entry and transaction recording
* Reconcile bank statements and ensure all financial data is accurate and up to date
* Process accounts payable and receivable in a timely and accurate manner
* Maintain financial records using Xero accounting software
* Assist with the preparation of financial reports and statements as required
* Support the finance team with administrative bookkeeping tasks
* Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant financial regulations
Requirements
* Proven experience using Xero accounting software
* Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes and general ledger management
* Excellent organisational skills with high attention to detail
* Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a part-time role
* Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with team members
* Previous bookkeeping or accounting experience preferred but not essential
* A recognised qualification in accounting or finance is advantageous

Pay: £20,302.33-£33,531.37 per year
Expected hours: 24 per week
