CNC & Manual Machinists - Multiple Roles Available (PAYE Contract) Location: Titchfield, near Fareham, Hampshire Contract Type: PAYE (until December 2025, with potential for extension Working Hours: Monday to Thursday, 7:30 am - 4:15 pm; Friday, 7:30 am - 11:30 am Here are the PAYE Pay Rates available: First 12 weeks - Basic: £18.09 (£20.72 inc. hol), OT: £27.13 (£31.07), Sunday: £36.17 (£41.43) After 12 weeks - Basic: £18.64 (£21.35 inc. hol), OT: £27.95 (£32.02), Sunday: £37.27 (£42.69) Who We Are & What's on Offer Matchtech has partnered with a leading aerospace powerhouse, currently recruiting experienced CNC and manual machinists' roles across a range of equipment. They're expanding their machining team with multiple contract vacancies at their well-equipped manufacturing facility in Titchfield, Hampshire. These roles are PAYE contracts running until the end of 2025, with strong potential for extension depending on performance and business needs. Here's our current list of vacancies: CNC Turning: HT42 Hardinge Conquest Lathe (x2) NC Turning: Alpha Harrison (x2) CNC Milling: Mori Seiki NV (x1) CNC Grinding: (x2) Citizen Sliding Head: (x1) Manual Machinist / Toolmaker: (x2) CNC Machining Centre (Fastems): Mori Seiki NH5000 (x2) Deburring: (x1) Where You'll Make an Impact Key Responsibilities (depending on role): Setting and operating CNC lathes, mills, grinders, or sliding head machines Interpreting engineering drawings and work instructions Recording and analysing SPC data Using precision measurement tools (e.g. verniers, micrometers, plug gauges) Carrying out manual machining, toolmaking, and deburring Upholding health & safety standards and supporting continuous improvement What You'll Need to Succeed Proven machining experience in a relevant setting Specific experience on machines such as Mori Seiki NH5000, Hardinge Conquest, Citizen Sliding Head, etc. Experience with Fastems systems (for machining centre roles) preferred Ability to read engineering drawings and record SPC data Skilled in the use of manual and digital precision measuring tools Completed apprenticeship or equivalent hands-on experience Aerospace, defence, or regulated industry background desirable Right to work in the UK and eligible for ITAR-controlled work Ready to Launch Your Next Mission?
