Dermatology Clinical Assistant Role
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Dermatology Clinical Assistant. The successful candidate will work alongside experienced professionals in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing exceptional patient care.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced dermatology department, assisting with a range of clinical duties including phototherapy, minor surgery, and day care treatments. As a clinical assistant, you will have the chance to develop new skills and build on existing knowledge, working under the supervision of experienced clinicians.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in all areas of the dermatology department, including phototherapy, minor surgery, and day care treatments.
* Deliver topical treatments to patients attending the day care unit, under the guidance of registered nurses.
* Support clinicians in minor surgery, acting as a scrub nurse or assisting a registered nurse.
* Develop competencies within the competency framework for this post.
