Description
As the Production Engineer you will be tasked with the following;
· CAD knowledge (Solidworks)
· Experience of 4 and 5-axis machining techniques
· Experience of CNC Lathes
· Execution of manufacturing engineering tasks to deadlines
· Creation of process specifications
· Support the department with Routings, BOMs, Production Orders, Costings
· Knowledge of ERP systems preferably SAP
· Provide support and expertise to optimise and improve process capability and yield
· Ability to interface with internal and external stakeholders eg, Purchasing, Engineering, Group etc Adherence to Health and Safety procedures
Profile
A successful Production Engineer should have:
* HNC/HND as a minimum qualification within engineering.
* Proficiency in production process optimisation techniques.
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Experience in the industrial and manufacturing sector.
* Familiarity with health and safety regulations in a manufacturing environment.
* Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
* Capability to work with technical documentation and production metrics.
* Full right to work within the UK.
