We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Head Chef to join our motivating, progressive, and evolving company.
The dishes and specials on our menus are created by our food development team and change regularly; ensuring your kitchen team delivers meals to these specifications is a key part of the role.
The Curious Pig, our latest addition to the Barons family, features 9 boutique letting rooms, a large outdoor garden with a play area, bar, dining pods, and a bookable patio function area.
What we expect…
* You will drive standards, develop, and motivate your kitchen staff; leading by example and inspiring their success.
* You will lead from the front, running smooth service sessions and maintaining high standards of food quality and consistency.
* You will manage effective kitchen controls to achieve good gross profit, efficient ordering, stock control, and ensure compliance with health, hygiene, and food safety standards.
* We seek a motivated Head Chef who will join the management team of the pub and the larger Chef community within Barons; attending training workshops and team meetings.
* Our customers expect a great experience every time they visit, and together with the front of house team, it is your responsibility to meet these expectations consistently.
