Recruitment Manager
Location: Homebased with regular travel across East, North & West London, Essex, and Hertfordshire
Package : £44,756 + £750 Homeworking Allowance + £4,184 London Weighting if applicable.
Are you a passionate and proactive leader with a drive to make a real impact in the lives of children and young people? A dedicated fostering charity is looking for a Recruitment Manager to lead on local foster carer recruitment and assessment strategy.
Key Responsibilities :
* Lead the local recruitment strategy in your region and align with national initiatives
* Manage, supervise and support a team of recruitment officers, assessing social workers and independent social workers
* Oversee enquiry response, home visits, assessments,
* Make critical decisions on applicant suitability and ensure assessments meet timelines and standards
* Maintain rigorous safeguarding and compliance standards
* Use performance data and feedback to continuously improve recruitment practice
You’ll have the following :
* Successful track record in carer recruitment campaigns.
* Minimum 2 years post-qualifying experience in family placement or statutory childcare settings.
* Proficient in assessing foster carers and quality assuring assessments.
* Experienced in staff leadership and management.
* Strong administrative skills, including system setup and maintenance.
* In-depth understanding of carer preparation, assessment processes, and recruitment campaigns.
