A leading global asset manager is looking to appoint a Regulatory Reporting Associate to join its regulatory reporting function in London. This role offers the opportunity to work across a wide range of daily reporting, oversight, and periodic filing responsibilities within a fast-paced, high-performing environment.
The successful candidate will play an important part in ensuring the accuracy, timeliness, and robustness of regulatory reporting across multiple jurisdictions. The position also offers involvement in issue resolution, process improvement, and broader team projects.
Responsibilities
* Support the production of daily transaction reporting across multiple regulatory regimes.
* Review reporting outputs, identify exceptions, and investigate root causes.
* Work closely with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and counterparties to resolve reporting issues efficiently.
* Assist with oversight controls, daily approvals, and MI production to monitor the health of the reporting process.
* Contribute to periodic regulatory filings and related submissions as required.
* Support wider remediation, infrastructure, and project work across the team.
Experience Required
* 4+ years experience in regulatory reporting, ideally gained within an asset manager, investment bank, capital markets firm, or a relevant vendor.
* Strong understanding of EMIR, MiFIR, and SFTR reporting requirements and processes.
* Familiarity with asset management operations and a broad understanding of financial products and instrument types.
* Experience handling reporting breaks, exceptions, or validation issues, with a practical and solution-focused approach.
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
