Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Deputy Care Manager to join our growing team at our Newport, Shropshire office. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our company, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest level of care and support for our clients in their own homes. You will be responsible for overseeing a team of care professionals, monitoring service quality, and maintaining compliance with regulations.

Your key responsibilities:

1. Supervise and lead a team of care professionals, providing guidance, training, and support.
2. Conduct regular home visits to assess client needs and quality assurance checks.
3. Conduct client and care professional introductions.
4. Create care plans and coordinate services to meet individual client requirements.
5. Maintain accurate client records and documentation in compliance with regulations.
6. Monitor and evaluate our care professional’s performance, providing feedback and implementing improvement plans.
7. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, families, and clients to ensure effective care coordination.
8. Ensure that all services provided align with company policies and industry standards.
9. Address and resolve client and care professional concerns in a timely and compassionate manner.
10. This role will involve an element of on call duties.
11. Carry out any other duties deemed necessary for the successful operation of the business.

Qualifications

12. Experience of delivering & managing care support services in a similar setting.
13. Holds or be willing to work towards a NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent).
14. Experience of delivering and managing care support services.
15. Strong leadership and communication skills.
16. Knowledge of CQC or relevant Health and social care regulations and compliance.
17. Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
18. Flexible to meet the needs of the business.
19. Compassion and empathy for our clients and their families.
20. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
21. The role requires you to have access to your own vehicle and hold a valid driving licence.
