About the role
We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join the Mechanical Engineering department, integrating into existing research groups or contributing to the Southampton Advanced Manufacturing and Design Hub (SAMDH). Your expertise should align with strategic growth areas such as:
* Future mobility, automotive wear, dynamics, propulsion, and fuels.
* Thermofluidic and cryogenic systems for energy applications.
* Advanced manufacturing, AI-assisted design, and production.
* Mechatronics, bio-engineering, control systems, robotics, and e-skins.
