Overview

The team provides specialist safeguarding expertise and oversight in view of protecting and supporting people at risk of abuse or neglect within the City.

You will provide integral support to the Local Authority statutory responsibilities under the Mental Capacity Act 2005 and Care Act 2014, through the administration of the Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DOLS) and Adult Safeguarding tasks.

You should have excellent minute taking and recording skills and be able to effectively organise and support the team as and when required.


Responsibilities

* You will have an important role in the co-ordination and organisation of essential meetings, making arrangements, compiling minutes and papers and sharing information in a timely and professional manner.
* You must be proactive, able to collate and maintain good data/information to inform LSE (Large Scale Enquiry) processes and have excellent organisational and communication skills.
* You must be able to move with the needs of the team and be able to adapt to requests as and when they arrive with a positive mindset.
