The Role and Candidate
We are seeking a Commercial Project Manager to drive complex, cross functional commercial initiatives from concept through to execution. This role sits at the intersection of commercial strategy, project delivery, and stakeholder coordination, ensuring that regional priorities are translated into disciplined, on time execution.
You will manage high impact projects across retail expansion, operational optimisation, and regional initiatives.
In parallel, the role carries a strong data and BI focus. Operating at European level, you will support leadership decision making through structured commercial insights and performance reporting. The role reports to the Head of Europe and provides regular regional updates to HQ.
This position is suited to someone with strong regional retail exposure, sound analytical judgement, and the ability to balance insight generation with execution ownership.
Responsibilities
Regional Commercial Data & BI Insights
* Own regional commercial reporting across sales performance, retail productivity, and core commercial KPIs
* Develop and maintain clear, decision focused dashboards and performance packs for European leadership and HQ
* Analyse multi country retail data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities across European markets
* Work closely with HQ teams to ensure consistency in data definitions, logic, and reporting standards
Regional Commercial Project Delivery
* Lead regional commercial and retail initiatives from planning through execution
* Translate regional priorities into clear scopes, milestones, and success measures
* Coordinate cross functional stakeholders across Retail, Commercial, Finance, Operations, and country teams
* Ensure initiatives deliver tangible commercial or operational outcomes
Execution Tracking & Risk Management
* Track progress of regional initiatives, identifying risks, dependencies, and delivery gaps
* Maintain pragmatic tracking and reporting tools to support visibility and accountability
* Escalate issues early and propose practical mitigation actions
Regional & HQ Interface
* Provide regular, structured regional performance and project updates to the Head of Europe and HQ
* Support preparation of business reviews, leadership updates, and performance materials
* Act as a central point of clarity on European retail performance and regional initiatives
* Challenge unclear assumptions or weak data prior to senior escalation
Required Qualifications
* Proven experience in regional retail environments, with exposure across multiple European markets
* Strong familiarity with the European retail landscape and operating models
* Demonstrated experience in commercial project management or programme delivery roles
* Hands on experience with commercial data analysis, BI reporting, and performance insight generation
* Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience working across functions and geographies
* Highly structured, commercially minded, and execution focused
* Advanced Excel skills required. Experience with BI tools is strongly preferred
* Fluent in English
Desirable but Not Essential
* Experience in consumer goods, lifestyle retail, or pop culture related sectors
* Prior exposure to HQ regional reporting or international business environments. Experience in working Chinese / Asian teams would be an advantage
* Experience supporting retail expansion or multi country rollout initiatives
* Additional European language capability
