Salary: up to £14,000 per annum
The Student Experience Officer’s role is to provide a high level of administrative and operational service within the ISC, both online and face-to-face.
The post holder will be responsible for delivering services and processes that enable the site to function effectively. This will require good people skills and a high level of administrative ability. Responsibilities include delivering a reception service, responding to routine student enquiries, and becoming proficient in the internal student records system. The post holder must ensure the accurate recording of data required for student records.
ABOUT THE ROLE
1. Ensure the smooth operation of the reception and other student-facing environments, handling general queries face-to-face, via email, phone, and the VLE.
2. Provide general advice to students on local and travel information, assist with opening bank accounts, issue confirmation letters, ID cards, student cards, and handle complaints.
3. Support student activities and events, including venue booking, catering, and equipment management.
4. Conduct termly audits to ensure adequate furniture, clocks, and classroom provisions.
5. Participate in student registration at all intake points, updating records and uploading relevant documentation.
6. Support late arrivals with registration and orientation.
7. Maintain and update student data within the student information system, report errors, and chase outstanding documentation.
8. Assist colleagues with contacting absent students and informing parents or agents when necessary.
9. Liaise with central teams to update student bookings and study plans, including booster classes and exam resits.
10. Update student progression data and ensure the accuracy and timeliness of student reports.
11. Assist with assessment processes, including release, invigilation, verification, and archiving of assessment materials.
12. Collaborate with external stakeholders, including parents, sponsors, guardians, agents, and partner universities, to provide timely information and reports.
13. Participate in agent visits and marketing activities.
14. Provide administrative support to other teams and cover duties during absences and peak periods.
15. Perform any other duties reasonably required by the Centre Management team.
