Overview
Join E.ON as a senior finance business partner to advance your finance and leadership skills. You will serve as a trusted advisor to the New Business team, influence key commercial decisions, and shape the strategic direction of the business. Your role will be central to delivering the Medium‑Term Plan (MTP), driving performance and ensuring strong financial discipline across the business.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop KPIs and leverage financial and operational data to identify risks and opportunities, producing actionable performance reports using EBS principles.
* Collaborate with the wider team to set up a structured forecasting process aligned with EIS and Group planning requirements, ensuring accurate reconciliation and high‑quality forecasts.
* Provide real‑time support and analysis to the New Business team, delivering insights that add value to decision‑making.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders across the B2B business and engage closely with the EIS leadership team.
* Identify opportunities for efficiency and automation within reporting and planning processes, partnering with the business to enhance reporting and drive continuous improvement.
* Support development and delivery of investment cases, business planning, performance reporting, and robust governance and controls.
Qualifications
* Qualified accountant with membership of a recognized professional accounting body (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
* Proven experience in finance business partnering and strong understanding of commercial operations.
* Expertise in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels and consistently deliver high‑quality output under pressure.
* Self‑motivated, capable of working independently, with a track record of initiating and driving change.
* Adaptable, with a proactive and dynamic approach to problem‑solving.
