Job Description:
Summary
m2r Education is hiring online ESL Teachers for a large ESL training provider based in Vietnam. The contract is for 12 months, with rolling renewals.
Ongoing work is available, with the option to teach in Vietnam later if desired.
Hours:
* You must be able to commit to teaching at least 10 hours per week, including weekends.
* There is no upper limit to the number of hours you can teach.
* Teachers are expected to work a minimum of 32 hours per month, with at least 4 hours per week on weekends. Teachers can average around 65 hours a month with flexible scheduling.
* Classes are scheduled as follows:
* Monday-Friday: 5:20pm-9:20pm (Vietnam time)
* Saturday and Sunday: 7:45am-7:40pm (Vietnam time)
Classes
* Students aged 4 to 17 years old
* Class sizes of 4 to 8 students
* All learning materials will be provided
Classes and schedules are fixed, allowing teachers to build ongoing relationships with students. Lessons are pre-planned and delivered through provided materials, minimizing preparation time. Teachers can access lesson plans, notes, and materials weekly to prepare for classes.
Requirements
* English fluency, IELTS 8.5 / C1 or higher if not a native speaker
* Valid passport (required for payment processing)
* Bachelor’s degree or higher
* TEFL/CELTA qualification
* At least 1 year online teaching experience
* Enthusiastic and professional attitude
* Ability to motivate students
* Willingness to commit to at least 40 hours per month, including weekends
* Strong communication and presentation skills
* Reliable internet connection (preferably 20Mbps)
* HD webcam and headset with microphone
* Windows or Mac OS with minimum 8GB RAM and a fast processor (i5 or higher)
