Job Summary:
In this role, you will provide project field engineering specialization and expertise with work planning and packaging, material management, quantity verification and validation, safety and quality control, technical inspection and testing knowledge, and subcontract coordination. Your recommendations will ensure field engineering activities operate safely, are complete, and conform to quality standards and project requirements.
This position is designated as part:time telework per our global telework policy and may require at least three days of in:person attendance per week at the assigned office or project. Weekly in:person schedules will be determined by the individual and their supervisor, in consultation with functional or project leadership".
Major Responsibilities:
The Senior Field Engineer supports Project Managers in the monitoring of construction related activity on large, strategically important projects (typically above GBP 25m), or across multiple projects within a defined sub:programme, or supporting a Programme Construction Manager on larger or more complex projects (typically above GBP 100m) : all in a live operational environment.
:Input into constructability reviews to optimise construction sequencing, logistics, and methodology.
:Coordinate with engineering and design consultants to ensure construction requirements are reflected in design deliverables.
:Support the development of site layouts, temporary works strategies, logistics and phasing plans for construction in a live operational environment.
:Assist in developing overall construction execution plans, staffing strategies, and resource estimates.
:Collaborate with Procurement and Supply Chain to develop construction packaging and delivery strategies.
