Registered Manager - Stockport Location: Stockport Salary: Up to £45,000 £5,000 Welcome Bonus 21% Annual Performance Bonus Annual Leave: 32 days (including Bank Holidays) We are currently recruiting for a passionate and experienced Registered Manager to lead a well-established 3-bed EBD (Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties) Children's Residential Home in Stockport, rated "Good" by Ofsted. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual who is dedicated to delivering outstanding care, driving service improvement, and supporting young people to reach their full potential. Key Responsibilities: Lead the daily operations of the home, ensuring high-quality care and positive outcomes for the children. Manage, support, and develop the staff team, promoting a culture of growth, trust, and high standards. Oversee compliance with all safeguarding and regulatory requirements. Effectively manage budgets, service development, and financial performance. Develop strong relationships with external agencies and families to promote the welfare of the children. Requirements: A minimum of 3 years' senior experience within a children's residential care setting. Level 3 or 4 qualification in Children and Young People's Workforce (or equivalent). Completed or working towards the Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (Children and Young People). Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop others. Good knowledge of safeguarding legislation, children's home regulations, and the Children's Act 1989. Full UK driving licence and willingness to participate in the on-call rota.
