The Role:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a key role in supporting teaching and learning by supervising classes during teacher absence and maintaining a positive, focused classroom environment.
* Supervise pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects
* Promote positive behaviour in line with school values and policies
* Encourage engagement, effort, and resilience in learners
* Build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents where appropriate
* Support the schools inclusive and aspirational ethos
The Ideal Candidate:
* Confident, calm, and well-organised
* Passionate about supporting young people
* Strong communication and behaviour management skills
* Experience working with children or young people is desirable
* Graduates, aspiring teachers, and experienced cover supervisors are encouraged to apply
