Finance Director
About the role
A rapidly growing service‑based organisation is seeking a highly capable Financial Director to take full ownership of the finance function during a period of transformation and operational expansion. This is a pivotal No.1 finance role within a business that is moving from externally supported finance processes to a fully integrated in‑house model.
The position offers the opportunity to influence strategy, build a modern finance team, and implement best‑practice processes, systems, and controls within an evolving commercial environment.
About You
1. Proven experience as a Finance Director or as a Financial Controller ready to step up
2. Background in service‑based or contract‑driven businesses (desirable, not essential)
3. Strong commercial acumen and operational finance capability
4. Demonstrated success improving controls, processes, and reporting
5. Experience implementing or upgrading ERP/finance systems
6. Professional accounting qualification: ACA / ACCA / CIMA
7. A proactive, hands‑on leadership style suited to a fast‑evolving environment
