Salary: Grade 5

Actual Annual Salary: £8,602 – Based on work 2 days, term time only. Your working days will be Thursday and Friday – 14 hours per week

Are you passionate about supporting student wellbeing and improving school attendance? Fulford School is seeking a dedicated Attendance Support Co-ordinator to join our pastoral team and play a key role in ensuring students are safe, supported, and present in school.

As Attendance Support Co-ordinator, you will:

* Work closely with the Attendance Intervention Lead and pastoral staff to monitor and improve student attendance.
* Maintain accurate attendance records using Arbour.
* Liaise with parents, carers, and staff to follow up on absences and provide tailored advice.
* Respond to alerts for pupils missing from lessons to ensure safeguarding.
* Manage the PSU reception area, acting as the first point of contact for parents and pupils.
* Provide general administrative support and assist with pupil welfare and first aid.

We're looking for someone who:

* Has strong administrative and IT skills
* Communicates effectively with students, parents, and staff.
* Is proactive, organised, and able to prioritise tasks in a busy school environment.
* Has experience working in a school or similar setting (desirable).
* Understands safeguarding and SEN issues.
* Is committed to continuous professional development.
