We are recruiting for an experienced warehouse admin clerk to join the team of a large distribution hub on the outskirts of Derby. You will joining the warehouse and logistics team to support with data entry, processing paperwork, and general operations support.
Working hours:
3 shift rotation: 0600-1400 / 1400-2200 / 2200-0600
Monday to Friday (however you may be asked to cover weekends on occasion during holidays)
Day to day includes…
1. Using WMS to manage inventory, track shipments, and process orders.
2. Performing stock accuracy checks, analyzing results, and resolving discrepancies.
3. Producing reports for the operations team
4. Ensuring all paperwork and documentation is processed and filed correctly
5. Other AD HOC tasks to support the wider team.
About you:
6. Experience in a similar role using WMS would be preferred.
7. Comfortable to be working in both an office environment and on the shop floor in the warehouse.
8. Confident Communicator
9. Strong attention to detail
10. Ability to use own initiative and problem solve
11. Fluent in English both verbal and written.
12. Able to commute to the Alvaston area at the above shift times.
Please note:
This position is offered on an initial temporary basis in whihc the clinet may transfer you over to a permanent contract after the qualifying time period. In this role you will come into contact with alcohol.
