About us
Our Joint Venture Partner (JVP) Amine is passionate about Orthopaedics and Soft tissue surgery, and is opening the surgery with two operating theatres. The team is keen to work with another Vet who will be primarily GP focused, but also get involved with surgeries when needed and the JVP is open to mentoring and supporting in improving surgical skills
Spalding Vets for Pets is situated inside one of our new concept Pets at Home stores and is designed to deliver not only the highest clinical standards - but also a pleasant working environment for the whole team.
Spalding Vets for Pets has 3 consult rooms, 2 surgical theatres, separated cats and dogs wards, new fully equipped lab., x-ray, dental x-ray, Ultrasound, new design pharmacy, dental machine, and lot of other toys
The practice is in the lovely market town of Spalding, with good national and international transport links and the opportunity to establish a loyal, engaged client base quickly.
What to expect
You will be working alongside our JVP Vet with other vets and a skilled and engaged nursing team, whilst also gaining the backing from our first-rate, experienced practice support team.
Our new practice can offer you the environment, caseload and equipment needed to utilise the skills you’ve gained to date whilst also giving you plenty of opportunity to develop further. We are proactive to continually support postgraduate qualifications and CPD for training in your areas of interest and our JVP is keen to mentor and support.
About you
The ideal candidate will have good small animal experience, be comfortable with sole charge and relish being part of a team. You will be keen to work towards the same practice vision of providing gold standard pet care to the local community and your patients.
As a brand-new practice, we are happy to offer full or part time hours for the right individual, with no OOH required and no weekends.
This is a truly exciting opportunity to be part of something special and comes with a competitive salary of up to £70K depending on the experience.
