Job Description:
Last year, 786,574 people received information and support from Victim Support. As a Service Delivery Volunteer, you will provide specialist support services for people affected by crime.
Location: West Midlands (office location TBC)
Expected Hours: 3 or more hours per week
DBS required: Yes, enhanced police vetting required

Volunteering with Victim Support in West Midlands
As a Volunteer, your role will include:
* Contacting service users to assess needs and identify services to be delivered.
* Providing emotional and practical support.
* Signposting to other organizations and making referrals with consent.
* Advocating for service users with organizations like police and housing.
What do we ask of you?
To join as a Service Delivery Volunteer, you must:
* Be 18 years or older.
* Volunteer at least 3 hours weekly for 12 months.
* Complete a 10-week training including virtual days, workbook, and online modules.
* Undertake an enhanced DBS check and join the DBS update service.
* Provide two satisfactory references.
Have an active email for communication.
Expenses
Volunteers are entitled to expenses like travel and lunch.
