Pertemps are looking for a skilled and motivated Electrical Bias Maintenance Engineer to work at our clients sites in Louth, Lincolnshire.
As the Electrical Bias Maintenance Engineer, you will carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) and reactive electrical and mechanical maintenance across two sites. This is a hands-on role that requires a multi-skilled engineer with a strong electrical background, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to improving plant efficiency and reliability.
Hours of work:
Full-time, MondayThursday rotation: 6am6pm and 6pm6am, 46 hours per week.
Salary:
£44,252 per annum
Key Responsibilities:
1. Carry out daily planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) and reactive maintenance on electrical and mechanical plant.
2. Respond quickly and effectively to breakdowns to minimise downtime.
3. Fault-find on PLC-controlled machinery, control drives, motors, and related equipment.
4. Repair and replace motors, heater elements, and associated control equipment.
5. Calibrate sensitive production equipment.
6. Perform basic mechanical maintenance and support other engineering tasks.
7. Test emergency lighting and fire alarm systems.
8. Participate fully in team meetings and liaise with the Senior Engineer to plan maintenance work.
