We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teacher to join a Special Educational Needs (SEN) school in Meldreth, on a permanent, full-time basis. About The School :
This independent, specialist day school supports children and young people aged 6 to 19 who have a diverse range of complex needs. These include Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD), Moderate and Severe Learning Disabilities (MLD and SLD), autism spectrum conditions, ADHD, and related difficulties. Many students also experience medical conditions and sensory or physical challenges.
The school provides a nurturing, highly individualised learning environment that helps students cope with sensory sensitivities, anxiety, low confidence, and difficulties with change-factors that can influence behaviour.
Outstanding inclusive facilities are available on-site, including a Hydrotherapy pool and large outdoor learning spaces. A dedicated in-house therapy team works in close partnership with classroom staff to deliver a personalised, child-focused curriculum tailored to meet each learner's unique needs.

Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver tailored, high-quality learning.
* Create an engaging and supportive environment.
* Work closely with class leaders, therapists, and other professionals.
* Contribute to the overall development of the curriculum.
* Lead and manage support staff effectively.
* Engage in assessments and report on students' progress.
* Potential for involvement in physical intervention and personal care routines.
What We're Looking For:
* PGCE, QTS, or equivalent teaching qualification with evidence of ongoing professional development (essential).
* A solid understanding of the Teacher Standards and expectations.
* Experience or knowledge of SEN, particularly sensory-led curriculums.
* Strong teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with others.
* Attention to detail in assessing, recording, and reporting progress.
* Leadership skills, with the ability to guide and support other adults in the classroom.
