Job Description
Prospero Teaching are looking for an LSA with SEN experience to work in a Primary School in Newmarket area to start September 2026. This will be supporting a Year 1 pupil with an EHCP, with particular focus on communication and interaction. Experience is essential.
CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS
* Location - Newmarket* Position - Learning Support Assistant* Contract or position start date - September 2026* Duration / Likely Duration - Ongoing* Contract type - Long-Term Temporary* Full time/part time - Part time to Full time* Minimum rate of pay - Minimum rate around £95-110 per day* Hours -8.30 am - 3pm
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
* Previous experience with SEN/SEMH is ESSENTIAL
* Previous TA/LSA experience
* GCSE English and Maths grade 'C'
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
* Hold Right to Work in the UK* Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application* Provide two professional child related references
