Project Controls Cost Manager
We are seeking a highly skilled Project Controls Cost Manager to oversee cost management and control functions on a major construction project. This role is critical to ensuring financial discipline, transparency, and efficiency throughout the project lifecyclefrom planning through execution and closeout.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain detailedcost estimates and budgets for all project phases. Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to validate cost inputs. Track actual costs against budgeted figures and forecast futureexpenditures. Implement earned valuemanagement (EVM) and other performance metrics. Identifycost variances and recommend corrective actions. Prepare regularcost reports for internal stakeholders and external clients. Provide insights intocost trends, risks, and opportunities. Support financial audits and funding reviews. Evaluatecost impacts of scope changes and manage change control processes. Ensure all changes aredocumented and approved in accordance with governance protocols. Assess financial risks and maintaincontingency plans. Support risk mitigation strategies in collaboration with project teams.
Your profile
* Bachelor's degree inConstruction Management, Engineering, Finance, or related field.
* Minimum 7 years of experience incost control/project controls on large-scale construction projects.
* Proficiency in cost management software (e.g., Primavera, ARES Prism, MS Excel).
* Strongunderstanding of project management methodologies and financial principles.
* Excellentanalytical, communication, and organizational skills.
Preferred Certifications
CCP (CertifiedCost Professional) AACE International PMP (ProjectManagement Professional) PMI RICS orequivalent professional membership
