Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Lead Clinical Psychologist to play a key leadership role in developing and delivering integrated health services for adults experiencing mental health difficulties. The post holder will provide a high level of specialist psychological expertise within community mental health settings, supporting complex and challenging cases and ensuring the delivery of effective, evidence-based care. As the lead psychologist, you will be responsible for overseeing the allocation of referrals, ensuring interventions are provided by appropriately skilled staff, and maintaining high clinical standards across the service. You will offer specialist assessments, interventions, and evaluations, while also contributing to the development and implementation of psychological care packages for individuals with significant mental health needs or challenging behaviours.

Key Responsibilities

To provide leadership to Clinical and Counselling Psychologists within the CommunityMentalHealth teams.To take a key role in leading, supervising and supporting a team of Clinical and Counselling PsychologistsIn collaboration with the service operational manager, Director of Mental Health and theHead of Psychology & Psychological Therapies, lead on service development projectsrelating to therapy provision that supports the organisation's strategic direction andenhance service delivery.To hold a specialist caseload.To support the Consultant Psychologist for Adult Mental Health with matters of clinicalgovernance in the locality.
