About Company: Due to increased business and the relocation of other Account Managers and Key Account Managers to South East, there is now an opportunity for a Midlands or Northern Home Counties Fire Alarm Service Salesperson, or a National Account Manager. The company is stable, successful, and has engineers for service and maintenance. The role involves managing retail, commercial, leisure clients across multiple sites needing servicing.
We are seeking a Fire Alarm Account Manager, Key Account Manager, National Account Manager, or Business Development Manager with account management or service sales experience, particularly in maintenance contracts.
Role Overview: We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Fire Alarm Account Manager to join a Fire Alarm company in the Midlands or Northern Home Counties. You will be provided with existing accounts and warm business leads.
Location flexibility is available for candidates with the right attitude and ability to develop national or key accounts. The ideal candidate will manage and grow client accounts, ensure high customer satisfaction, and drive sales within the designated regions. Fire alarm experience is required, focusing on service sales, remedials, upgrades, and moves, rather than technical or systems sales.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing national and key accounts.
* Provide fire safety advice and solutions regarding fire alarm systems (design support available; technical sales knowledge is not mandatory).
* Prepare and present proposals, quotes, and contracts.
* Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs, with commission incentives.
* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
* Stay informed on industry trends, products, and competitors.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in account management within the fire detection or fire & security industry.
* Strong sales and account management skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Valid driving license.
