Evans Pharmacy, proudly part of the Raylane Pharmacy Group, is looking for a motivated and customer-focused Dispenser / Counter Assistant to join our welcoming team in Malvern.
We are a busy community pharmacy that also operates as a specialist Travel Clinic, offering a wide range of NHS and private services. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment where patient care, professionalism, and teamwork are at the heart of everything we do.
About the Role
As a Dispenser / Counter Assistant, you will play a key role in delivering outstanding service to our patients and supporting the pharmacy team in day-to-day operations.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Assisting in the preparation and dispensing of prescriptions
* Providing excellent over-the-counter advice and customer service
* Supporting our Travel Clinic services and patient enquiries
* Handling prescription queries both in person and over the phone
* Managing stock, deliveries, and general pharmacy housekeeping
* Ensuring all tasks are completed accurately and in line with pharmacy regulations
What We're Looking For
We're seeking someone who is:
* Friendly, approachable, and professional
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail
* A confident communicator with excellent customer service skills
* Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
* A strong team player who takes pride in their work
Desirable (but not essential):
* Previous pharmacy dispensing experience
* NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services (or willingness to train)
* Experience in a community pharmacy setting
