Behaviour Support Assistant Bristol Full time and part time positions. Are you looking to use your life experience to make a real difference? We’re seeking resilient, proactive, and compassionate individuals to join our team as Behaviour Support Assistants, supporting children and young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN). In this role, you’ll work closely with students who may present behavioural, emotional, or social challenges, helping them feel safe, supported, and engaged in their learning. Some students may also require personal care, which will always be delivered with dignity and respect. This role may suit you if you have experience as a: Sports Coach Psychology or Criminology Graduate Social Worker or Support Worker Ex-Military professional Youth Worker, Teaching Assistant, or Mentor Your responsibilities will include: Providing 1:1 and small-group behaviour support for students with SEN Supporting personal care needs where required Building positive, trusting relationships with young people Helping to de-escalate challenging situations calmly and confidently Working collaboratively with school staff to implement behaviour and support plans What we’re looking for: Resilience, empathy, and strong communication skills A calm and patient approach to behaviour support A current DBS, or willingness to obtain one What we offer: A supportive and inclusive team environment Ongoing training and professional development A varied and rewarding role where no two days are the same If you’re passionate about behaviour, wellbeing, and helping young people with additional needs succeed, we’d love to hear from you.
