Overview

The Sales Manager will be responsible for overseeing the sales team, setting sales targets, and implementing effective strategies to increase customer acquisition and revenue. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, leadership experience, and a proven track record of achieving sales targets. This is a fully remote role, but occasional travel may be required for team meetings, industry events, or client interactions.


Responsibilities

* Sales Strategy & Performance Management: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to drive revenue growth and customer acquisition.
* Set realistic but ambitious sales targets and ensure the team is motivated to achieve them.
* Monitor sales performance metrics, analyse trends, and adjust strategies as needed.
* Identify new market opportunities and emerging customer needs.
* Team Leadership & Development: Lead, manage, and support a remote sales team to ensure high performance.
* Provide coaching, training, and mentoring to enhance team skills and sales techniques.
* Conduct regular performance reviews, offering constructive feedback and guidance.
* Foster a positive and high-energy sales culture that encourages motivation and achievement.
* Customer & Partner Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
* Develop and implement customer engagement initiatives to enhance loyalty and retention.
* Work with marketing to create targeted sales campaigns and promotions.
* Manage and optimise relationships with affiliates, resellers, or external sales partners.
* Reporting & Data Analysis: Track KPIs, conversion rates, and sales funnel performance to measure success.
* Provide detailed sales reports and insights to senior management.


Qualifications

* Essential Skills & Experience: Proven experience as a Sales Manager, Business Development Manager, or similar role.
* Strong leadership skills, with experience in managing and motivating sales teams.
* Demonstrable track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
* Experience with CRM software (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and sales performance tracking.
* Ability to work independently and manage a remote sales team.
* Strategic thinker with a results-driven mindset.
* Desirable Experience: Experience in the financial education, digital products, or fintech industry.
* Familiarity with affiliate marketing and partnerships.
* Knowledge of digital marketing and online sales funnels.
