In this role, you'll work closely with operational teams to embed a strong QHSE culture, reduce risk, and ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety and environmental legislation.
Role Responsibilities
1. Provide competent QHSE advice and support to on‑site operational teams to enable safe and compliant delivery of services
2. Promote a positive QHSE culture and support continuous improvement across the contract
3. Review, update and maintain risk assessments, method statements and site documentation
4. Support incident investigations, audits and inspections, ensuring actions are tracked and closed out
5. Keep up to date with relevant legislation and best practice, sharing knowledge with colleagues as required
Required Qualifications
Applicants must meet the below defined requirements for the role:
6. NEBOSH Certificate in Health & Safety (or equivalent), inc. CDM
7. Understanding of ISO, ISO & ISO
8. Ability to prepare, review and understand risk assessments and method statements
9. Experience working in a highly regulated environment (e.g. nuclear, construction or similar)

10. A proactive and approachable individual who enjoys supporting others to work safely
11. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
12. Experience within Construction or Power & Grid including the knowledge of Lifting Operations, Working at Heights
13. Environmental qualification such as AIEMA and/or audit experience (desirable, not essential)
14. A willingness to learn, develop and continuously improve QHSE standards on site
