A fast-growing company with a long history of training and developing people in both entry level and managerial roles, Edmundson are now seeking to continue their success by adding entry level talent into their team in Knutsford.
The Role
The job function of the surveying team is to support Edmundson Electrical make more informed decisions around their existing and expanding property portfolio. Typically they will assess the condition of the buildings and land, identify any potential problems, structural issues or defects.
As a Graduate Surveyor you would work alongside the current team of qualified surveyors visiting various sites across the country specifically in relation to property matters. For example that could be in relation to a periodic lease renewal or a rent review on a leased building.
It could be to guide the local manager on how to improve the facilities at the location or it could be engaging with preferred company contractors on a range of required works to the subject property. You will already have your RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors ) accredited degree and be looking to complete your 2 year APC (assessment of professional competence) en route to becoming a Chartered Surveyor which would be funded by the company.
Who are Edmundson looking for to fill this role?
5. Educated to degree level with an RICS (Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) accredited degree in Estates management or similar
6. Strong commercial acumen and excellent communication skills.
7. An ability to manage multiple task and projects and work independently
8. You will need to liaise with other Service Centre departments including Finance, Health and Safety and Internal Audit and you will also liaise regularly with local managers.
9. You will need to travel at times and from time to time be comfortable staying away as required which will be fully expensed by the company.
And the package for this position?
10. £30,000 base salary (40 hour contract 8.30-5.30pm)
