Management Accountant
Leeds or Birmingham | Hybrid (2 days office)
£50,000–£55,000 + up to 10% bonus
A well-established organisation with a strong public-sector footprint is looking to hire a Management Accountant to join its growing FP&A team. This role sits at the heart of financial reporting and insight, with a big emphasis on Power BI dashboards and stakeholder-facing analysis.

The Role
You'll work closely with senior finance stakeholders to deliver accurate, insightful reporting and continuously improve the FP&A reporting suite. Expect a healthy mix of core management accounting, variance analysis, and Power BI-driven insight.
Key responsibilities include:
Ownership of accurate monthly reporting and balance sheet reconciliations
Variance analysis and financial commentary for senior stakeholders
Building, maintaining and enhancing Power BI dashboards (non-negotiable)
Supporting internal and external reporting packs and KPI reporting
Improving processes across reporting, sign-off, and data flows
Supporting year-end and audit processes
Ad-hoc analysis and projects across finance and the wider business
What We're Looking For
Essential
Qualified or finalist accountant (CIMA / ACCA / ACA / CIPFA or equivalent)
Strong management accounting and FP&A experience
Hands-on Power BI experience, including dashboard creation
Solid Excel skills and experience working with ERP systems
Confident communicator with a proactive, improvement-focused mindset
Desirable
Advanced Excel capability
Experience improving or redesigning BI visualisations
Exposure to Sage X3 or similar ERP systems
Please note: Power BI dashboard experience is a must for this role.
