Duties
* Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored recommendations.
* Assist customers in selecting products, ensuring they receive the best possible service.
* Employ upselling techniques to enhance sales opportunities while maintaining customer satisfaction.
* Maintain an organised and visually appealing sales floor, ensuring products are well-displayed and stocked.
* Handle transactions accurately using basic maths skills for cash handling and till operations.
* Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
* Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and contribute to a positive work environment.
* Stay informed about product features, promotions, and store policies to provide accurate information to customers.
Experience
* Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred but not essential; a willingness to learn is key.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse customers
* Basic maths skills for handling transactions and managing stock levels.
* Organisational skills to maintain an orderly workspace and manage inventory efficiently.
* A proactive attitude towards upselling and promoting products is highly desirable.
