Location: Milton Keynes

Salary: £120,000 - £500,000 + Excellent Benefits + Performance Bonus

Job Type: Permanent

An outstanding opportunity for a seasoned Disputes Partner to join a leading national firm with a strong reputation for excellence, collaboration, and strategic growth.

We are delighted to be working exclusively with a prestigious Top 50 UK law firm seeking to appoint an experienced Disputes Partner to its growing Milton Keynes office.

The firm has a well-established national Dispute Resolution practice, advising blue-chip, mid-market, and entrepreneurial clients across a broad range of sectors. With a culture built on innovation, teamwork, and commercial focus, this is an opportunity to take a leadership role within a forward-thinking and ambitious national firm.

The Role

As a Disputes Partner, you will lead and grow the firm's Milton Keynes Dispute Resolution offering while collaborating closely with an accomplished national team. The role combines strategic leadership, high-level client engagement, and the opportunity to shape the future direction of the practice locally and nationally.

The team's work spans a broad range of commercial disputes, including contract and shareholder disputes, professional negligence, insolvency litigation, and regulatory matters, as well as alternative dispute resolution and mediation.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead and develop the Dispute Resolution team in Milton Keynes.
* Advise clients on complex, high-value commercial litigation and dispute matters.
* Drive business development initiatives and strengthen the firm's regional presence.
* Collaborate with colleagues across the firm's UK offices to deliver seamless, multi-disciplinary service.
* Mentor and develop junior lawyers, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.

About You

You will be an experienced and commercially minded Disputes Partner, or a Legal Director / Senior Associate ready to take that next step into partnership. You'll bring technical excellence, commercial awareness, and the ability to inspire trust in both clients and colleagues.

You will bring:

* At least 8+ years' PQE in commercial litigation or dispute resolution.
* Experience managing complex cases for corporate and high-net-worth clients.
* Strong business development and client relationship skills.
* The ability to lead, motivate, and mentor others.
* A following or strong regional network would be advantageous, but not essential.

The Firm

This Top 50 UK law firm is recognised for its modern, inclusive culture and progressive leadership. With a strong national footprint and a reputation for quality, it offers a genuinely supportive environment where Partners are empowered to lead with autonomy, creativity, and purpose.

Why Join?

* Join a nationally recognised Top 50 firm with an established disputes practice.
* Strategic leadership opportunity within a key regional office.
* Market-leading remuneration and benefits package.
* A progressive, people-first culture that values collaboration, innovation, and long-term success.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a driven and respected litigator to take the next step in their career — combining first-class work, genuine leadership potential, and the support of a top-tier national platform.
